Celebrating Greenpeace Day!

On 15th September people around the World celebrated Greenpeace Day.
The origins of the campaign stem back a few decades to a group of activists located in Vancouver.
They protested against offshore nuclear testing in Alaska that was happening on this date in 1971.
Greenpeace is now a Non-governmental Organisation. It continues strongly to defend the environmental World against eco-crimes and promote and raise awareness of the Earth as the core of existence.
