Hi, I'm Verónika. I am a Colombian illustrator and I live in Bogotá. As a child I loved singing in front of the mirror and I adored small cars, especially racing cars. I studied classical music for a few years and played the oboe in the Youth Symphony Orchestra, but what I really liked was rock, so I joined a band to make noise for a while.
I also studied film and photography, and eventually became a self-taught illustrator for the love of books and art. I have been drawing, exploring and finding my own way of telling and writing stories for many years.
I really, really like colour, creating characters and filling spaces with lots of details, curious objects, hidden stories to discover.
